Standing and dangling on legs so fast they're shaking
few teeth and fangs in the cranium
a sensitivity to motion and sound
some of us survive by running faster
some of us survive by standing still
some of us evolve to brightly painted
some of us dissolve into the hill
always on the other side of this tree
now they're making grumpy, cutesy kind of noises
all I want to know is why
well I can't say that I know what they say
but I know they definitely seem to be telling me to leave
